RuPay corporate cards · UPI-native
One company card that works at every QR code in India.
Xpay issues RuPay corporate credit cards that carry their own UPI ID. Your team scans the same QR the chaiwala already has — and finance sees the spend, the GST and the receipt before the cup is empty.

Today
The acceptance gap
A card-only spend platform is offline for most of India.
Corporate card programmes built on international networks assume a card terminal at the counter. Outside metro malls and airports, that terminal usually isn't there — a QR sticker is. So the spend leaves the system: cash from the office drawer, a founder's personal UPI, a reimbursement claim three weeks later.
How it works
Card credit, UPI acceptance, one ledger.
Every Xpay card is a RuPay credit card linked to a UPI handle. The merchant is paid over UPI and settled like any other QR payment. Your company is billed on the card line — with the controls and the audit trail intact.
Issue in minutes
Add a person, set a monthly budget, pick which categories they can spend in. A virtual card is live instantly; the physical RuPay card follows by courier. Their UPI handle — name@xpay — is created with it.
Scan any QR
Petrol pump, kirana, tempo driver, Blinkit at 1am. The app scans, the policy engine checks the limit and the category, and the payment goes through on UPI rails in under two seconds. Declines say why, on screen.
Close the loop
A receipt prompt fires the moment the payment lands. Xpay reads the GSTIN, HSN and tax split off the invoice, tags the cost centre, and pushes the entry to Tally or Zoho Books the same night.
Controls
Finance sets the rules once. The card enforces them every time.
Nothing here is a report you read after the money is gone. Every rule is checked before the payment is authorised.
Limits that reset themselves
Per person, per team, per project. Monthly, weekly or one-time. Unused budget expires instead of quietly rolling forward.
Merchant locks
Allow fuel and travel, block everything else. Category rules follow the card whether the payment is a QR scan or an online checkout.
Ask before, not after
Anything above a threshold pings the approver on WhatsApp. They approve from the chat; the employee's card unlocks for that one payment.
Subscription cards
A dedicated card per vendor — AWS, Zoho, Meta Ads — capped at the contracted amount so a pricing change can't overrun silently.
Freeze in one tap
Someone leaves, a phone goes missing, a number changes. Kill the card and its UPI handle instantly from the admin console.
Spend as it happens
A live feed of every payment across the company, filterable by team, category, merchant or cost centre — not a statement that lands on the 5th.
GST & books
Input credit you can actually claim.
Most input tax credit is lost to missing invoices, not to policy. Xpay chases the receipt while the spender still remembers the payment, then reads the tax off it.
- GSTIN and HSN read automatically from photographed or emailed invoices, with the CGST/SGST/IGST split kept separate.
- 2A/2B matching flags the vendors whose filings don't line up with your claims, before you file.
- Cost centre and project tags applied at the point of payment, so the ledger doesn't need a month-end clean-up.
- TDS-liable payments flagged at vendor level with the section and rate attached.

Questions finance asks
The short answers.
Is Xpay a bank?
No. Xpay is a technology platform. Cards are issued by our RBI-licensed partner bank on the RuPay network, and funds sit with the bank — not with us.
How does a credit card pay over UPI?
NPCI allows RuPay credit cards to be linked to a UPI handle. The merchant receives a normal UPI payment; the amount is billed to the card's credit line. The merchant needs no new hardware and pays no extra fee below ₹2,000.
Do employees need to install anything?
Yes — the Xpay app, which is where they scan, see their remaining budget and upload receipts. Approvers can stay on WhatsApp and never open the app.
What if a vendor only takes a card?
The same card works as an ordinary RuPay card at any terminal and online. UPI is the addition, not the replacement.
What happens to our existing cards?
Keep them. Most teams move everyday operating spend to Xpay first and leave large vendor payments where they are until the reconciliation is proven.
Where does our data live?
In India, on servers in our partner's Mumbai and Hyderabad regions, encrypted at rest. We are PCI-DSS Level 1 certified and never store full card numbers on our own systems.
